Get to feel the sensation of the jungle and discover with us the fascinating culture of the Mayans! In three days you will visit five impressive archaeological sites and get great insights into scientific work.

1st day :: Yaxha - La Blanca

In Yaxha we will install our tents under palm roofs. After watching the impressive sunset, we will have grilled dinner at the shore of the lake.

2nd day :: Topoxte - Nakum

A short boat trip takes us to Topoxte a site lying on an island within the lake. Here we discovered indications of human beings dating to the earliest times of the culture as well as constructions of the post classic, at a time when Tikal and other important city states had already been abandoned.

After the visit of Topoxte we start our tour to Nakum. This archaeological oasis lies in the heart of the deep jungle. To be able to pass the small path to Nakum we need pick-ups with 4x4. One of the last real adventures, that combines the nature of the rainforest with a cultural pearl of the Mayans. A guided tour with a lots of inside information and scientific details will introduce you to this highly interesting site, where you will admire the biggest acropolis of the Mayan world. Restoration work takes place in Nakum since 1994. You will be impressed by the number of restored buildings and the city plan of the site.

After the trip we leave you in Tikal. There you can enjoy the sunset with the incredible view from Temple IV. You can sleep in tents or one of the jungle hotels.

3rd day :: Tikal

Discover Tikal with its huge dimensions on your own or hire a guide. The monumental architecture of Tikal contains 6 temples, which are higher than 40 m, one even 69m. Over 3.000 structures of buildings have been found here, without counting buildings made of perishable material of which no indications can be found today.
